Terms of Service

By accessing or using Leestam, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Leestam. To list properties as a professional you must additionally be:

• A licensed agent, broker, property manager, developer, or a property owner;
• Authorised to market the properties you submit; and
• In compliance with applicable real estate laws and regulations.

You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Verify your email to activate your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

All property listings must:

• Contain accurate, truthful, and current information;
• Cover only properties you are authorised to market;
• Use genuine images that you have the right to use;
• Comply with fair-housing and anti-discrimination laws; and
• Not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights.

Listings may be reviewed, verified, flagged as possible duplicates, or automatically paused if availability is not periodically confirmed. We may remove listings that violate these Terms.

Professional accounts may be asked to submit identity and business documents for verification. Verification badges indicate that a review was performed; they are not a guarantee, and you remain responsible for your listings and conduct.

• Posting fraudulent, misleading, or duplicate listings;
• Reusing photos or content you do not have rights to;
• Harvesting user data or sending unsolicited communications;
• Interfering with, scraping, or attempting to disrupt the platform;
• Any activity that violates applicable laws or these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Leestam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use it for operating, promoting, and improving the platform. The Leestam name, software, and design remain our property.

Some features may be subject to fees, which will be disclosed before you incur them. Payments are processed by third-party providers; by paying, you also agree to their terms. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

Leestam is a marketplace. Listings and other content are provided by users, and we do not own, inspect, or guarantee any property, its availability, pricing, or the accuracy of any listing. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for your own due diligence before any transaction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leestam will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service or from dealings between users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of Leestam after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
